Yes, for a "sound intensive" module, I think the option to disable sounds is a 
must.

I'll also add a request to be able to add sounds to dice and map windows.  
While a dice roll sound may get annoying, I could see a need to add sounds to 
symbolic dice and some other situations.  Also, playing a sound when a map 
window is selected could be useful as well.
