Yeah, unfortunately that text is needed. The defensive cards, which have
little "windows" are placed on top of the offensive cards to reveal the
possible play outcomes. Thus, I made them the size that they are for high
resolution monitors so that it could easily be read. I guess I'll just have to
instruct people that they will need to bump their heap memory allocation to 512
in order to play it, which brings up the other question- In trying to help my
brother adjust his, he couldn't find the "AMVASSAL.jnlp" file. I asked him to
make sure that he was searching for hidden/system files and he said that he
was.
I asked him to navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\Dwww.vassalengine.org\P80\DMws
and he said that he his goes up to:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application
Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\
and then has a folder called "javapi", not a "javaws". Is that because of an
older version of Java or is it just hidden? I don't have a "javapi" folder.
Thanks again,
GJK
