I t seems nobody's really interested in trying to tell me it's normal or not
for Vassal to handle even/odd pixel sized square units differently...
Don't tell me none of you ever noticed that ?
At least a comment from those "in the know" about the inner working of
VASSAL would help me... decide wether I have to redraw all my counters
(already did tens and tens of them and resizing them to even pixel size will
mess them up. Thus I need to know once and for all if I have to start again
from scratch or if there is any hope in a future version to have VASSAL
handle both odd/even sized squares the same way.

David
Objet : [vassalengine] Rotatind units
Hello,
I have been experimenting with rotating units and the way they behave
depending on their size. I use square units and I noticed this :
- units with a size being an even number of pixel rotate perfectly upon
their center (but they don't have "center" pixel)
- units with a size being an odd number of pixel do not rotate perfectly
upon their center (but they do have "center" pixel)
I want to use units with an odd number of pixel size so as to always have a
pixel that is the center of this unit.
Is there something in the way Vassal is coded that prevent such units from
rotating correctly upon their center pixel?
Yours,
David
