Sometimes you want to use Protoypes that exist in extensions, so do not appear 
in the main module. Probably a warning if it does not exist would be best - I 
have over 150 prototypes in one of my modules, a drop-down box would be painful.

Not only would those be possible, I think they'd be pretty easy to
implement. Good ideas.
