Thanks! It wasn't in the documentation directory, it was in the main VASSAL directory.
I followed the instructions and it worked, but it uses Java Web Start, rather than the local installation. > You need to be connected to run the installer, but you can copy the files that the installer creates onto a non-networked machine and it will work offline. Oh, you just said that, didn't you. Sorry, I'm dull-witted... Didn't understand the first time. One of my original questions: are there any designated file extensions for scenarios, saved games, and so forth? Does it matter what file extension I use?
