Hi, all. Running Vista (2 GB RAM and lots of other goodies in the machine) and no problem with Vassal before version 3.0. Since then, periodically I've received a simple error box called "Java Virtual Machine Launcher" and the report "Could not create Java virtual machine". No other errors are mentioned.
Until 3.0.11, I've been able to wait for a while and I'd be able to launch. Indeed, I can still launch 3.0.10 locally, and I can launch 2.9 from the Vassalengine downloads page. But I can't launch 3.0.11 ata ll without the JVM error mentioned here. Any idea what's causing the error message? And why it's decided that 3.0.11 is impossible? Thanks, Neil
