Hi, Everyone... I downloaded and installed the beautiful new Vassal mod Panzer Command. I had not heard of this game before, and it seems to be a kind of evolutionary arrival, having been through several iterations before congealing in the Vassal mod. (I may be way off--this idea was found here: http://www.panzer-war.com/)
Anyway--and I don't know if Gary Krockover had anything to do w/ it (http://www.gamesquad.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38215)--the module seems to require rules written for Panzer Wars, which itself seems to be a kind of free-floating, ad-hoc kind of physical board game. Beyond that, another game by the same name is offered by Matrix.com. http://www.matrixgames.com/games/game.asp?gid=327 Could someone please explain the origin of Panzer Command? It seems like a terrific-looking game. (In the past I would donate a small sum to Vassalengine.org for games which were out of date and/or hard to locate. Am I able to purchase the original of this game?) Thanks so much, Casp
