I am having great trouble getting any sort of networking to work on a
laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 as the host and a Windows XP guest.

The host connects to the WiFi with no problems and everything works to
the LAN and to the internet.

However the XP guest's networking just doesn't work. It all *seems* like
it should work but nothing actually does, I can't connect to a networked
printer and I can't connect to the internet. Other guest XP systems on
hosts which are hardwired work OK.

I have tried both NAT and Bridged networking but neither works.
