Simple problem about owners and permissions:

I've set up a shared folder between my host and guest machines with the
following command:

sudo mount -t vboxsf -o suid,uid=globus,gid=globus hostshared /shared

Then I can see all files as owned by globus. However, when I write a file in
that folder and I check it on the host machine, the file just created is
owned by another user (the user that started the virtual machine).

This happens even when the original folder in the host machine is already
owned by the 'globus' user.

Is that a problem with the parameters I am sending to the mount command or
is it a limitation of the VirtualBox that only writes files on the host as
owned by the user that started the virtual machine?

I would appreciate your contribution.
