AFAIK VirtualBox doesn't query which users present on host, so it uses the user that started the VM.
Querying users for cross-platform solution would be too complex, as this would require PAM module for Unix/Linux and Active Directory integration for Windows hosts, and mapping users somehow between different technologies is really beyond the scope of VirtualBox (at least for now). Note that since VirtualBox is a cross-platform solution, it's development tries to seek for the common ground among all of it's supported hosts & guests, and this is not simple. -"Technologov" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Beautiful is writing same markup.
