Thanks Pablo. Need a little more info. I have Windows XP,
antivirus/firewall, and an oldie accounting program installed on
VirtualBox 3. Are these items "Guest Data" and will they continue to
exist after I uninstall Version 3? If so, how do I get them transferred
to Version 4? Thanks again.

I am a newbie. Do I need to uninstall Version 3 before I install
Virtual Box 4.0?
Hi Oda,
Yes, you'll need to uninstall 3.x before installing 4.x In general,
whenever you install a major release (1.x, 2.x, etc) with VBox, you'll
need to uninstall the previous version.
Uninstalling VBox does _not_ remove your previous `Guest' data. In
other words, any previously created VM's will continue to exist after
you un-install VBox.
Also, how much disk space should I allocated for a Windows XP OS
installed on a host Windows 7 OS? Thanks.
If I recall correctly (IIRC), I believe Windows XP requires at least
two GiB of disk space. With this in mind, you'll want at least two
GiB plus the amount of disk space for your installed application and
their data.
You'll want to keep in mind that you can also used `Shared Folders' so
you can store data on your Host O/S as well.
Cheers,
