Hello all,

I would like to know if someone already faced this kind of issue and can help
me...

I am running Virtualbox 4.1.18 on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bits.
The Guest os is Windows XP SP3.

I have the following issue:
1) Start the Vm
2) Start a proprietary software

everything runs fine

Now if I do the following
1) Start the Vm
2) Stop the Vm and generate a saved state
3) Resume the Vm
4) Start the same proprietary software

After some times (between 5minutes and 1hour), the proprietary software will
stop to work by causing an Access Violation.

I am using the normal VirtualBox Qt frontend.
VBox additions 4.1.18 are installed inside the Vm
Extension pack is NOT installed
The proprietary software is a PLC simulator so it executes in a loop the same
code for infinite time. it has some listening ports opened but none connected.
the VM is in NAT mode
I found nothing in VBox.log files.

I tried with several other versions of VirtualBox (4.1.16, 4.0.10, 4.0.16) and
I have the same problem.

I guess that the saved state is quite well tested and used by many people.
Does anybody face this kind of issue before.
Any advice on how to investigate this will be appreciate.
Thanks
