Running VBox V4.2 with the new grouping functionality on a Windows 7 host,
what a terrific enhancement!
Conversion was seamless, noticed that moving VMs into groups in the GUI
causes the directory structure to change, reflecting the grouping in the
interface.
I am experiencing an issue when cloning existing VMs, the cloned VM is
placed in the same group in the source VM in the GUI, in the file system
however, it is placed at the top level as if it were outside all groups.
Found that a work around to re-sync the locations between the GUI and file
system is to drag the VM in the GUI out of all groups to the top level to
match its position in the file system, then drag it into the desired group.
Wondering if anyone else had noticed this issue, perhaps on other host OSes?
