Hi Okky, Thanks for the reply. Yes, both the extension and guest addition have been installed. It can not find the printer. The VBox Manager recognized it immediately when adding the USB filter for it. I installed the printer driver from within XP, but there was no USB Printer port in the list of ports. I added a USB port in the hopes that would work, but no help. The device manager reports an "unknown device" with no driver. This is a printer that normally is recognized as a Plug&Play printer when on normal Win system. I have no idea where to go from here.
