In my opinion his conclusion was not what you stated it to be, but he said merely this: "... guess it´s possible to conclude that many Virtualbox users might also have Java installed on their systems." Now while his apparent reason for concluding "why" these users may well have Java installed (i.e., because there is also a Java API in Vbox) could be erroneous, I would most certainly argue that his precautionary recommendation under the circumstances is not only appropriate and on topic but also utterly prudent in light of the serious flaw present in Java which was promptly fixed my Oracle. I would also argue that your statement " No reason for the typical VBox user to install Java whatsoever" is quite incorrect because the typical Vbox user is likely one who is a typical Windows or Linux user, which does in fact include the group of users who are likely to have Java installed. In other words, his statement about the likelihood of the average user of Vbox also being a likely user of Java is reasonable by reason of association. Moreover, given the possibility that such user of Java were also a user of Vbox, especially in light of the fact that his audience would most certainly fall into this category, your objection is unwarranted, as far as I can see anyway.
