I have a question, has anyone got any guests running under Virtualbox that produce 802.1Q tagged frames that are sent out over a bridged interface (a switch trunked / tagged port)?

If so, and your hosts are successfully communicating could you let me know:

1. The Guest drivers and settings you're using
2. What your actual host hardware NIC / software platform and driver is?
3. Any tricks that you needed to get it working.

I have tried this myself with 4.3.20, with the Intel (supposedly documented as not working), AMD (supposed to work) & Virtio (also supposed to work) drivers provided to the guest, and have not been able to pass any 802.1Q traffic even between two guests, let alone outbound via a physical bridged interface.
