Hi Tom,
Virtualbox is "x86" (Intel-AMD) software. That means to say, ANY machine
capable of running x86 operating systems will run Virtualbox, regardless of
"form factor" of the hardware (desktop PC, laptop, netbook, x86 tablet). If
it´s got an Intel or AMD CPU, it will run virtualbox.
I have an AMD x86 tablet that has an AMD APU (MSI Windpad 110w) and comes
pre-installed with Win7-Win8.x and I´ve run VBox succesfully there.
Tablets that run "Windows RT" or Android have ARM (RISC) processors and
thus are not Intel-AMD x86 compatible and cannot any x86 operating system.
