Hi Cliff and all:

My answers and thanks:

-What version of Virtual Box are you running?

I usually use VB 4.3.24 version but now I try to running VB 5.1.2 (In
this is where I can't run VM with 64 bits options, only with 32 bits
options appear)

-What host OS?

I use Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and run there VB.

-Do I understand correctly that you are running Ubuntu 16.04 as the
guest (VM)?

Yes right, I run Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in VM 64 bits, when I run VB 4.3.24.

-Did you install the Guest Additions into the VM?

I installed Extensions Pack program. I didn't install Guest Additions
yet,... Now I'm going to install it and hope this solve the problem with
USB flash memory and share file. I will explain you and all how is going
on. Thanks for the tip.

-How did you add the filter to the VM settings?

In the configurations settings, I select USB, then, there, I check the
USB and EHCI boxes. Then I find in the icon of filter (+), the USB flash
memory recognized by the filter that is pluged into usb port.

-What message does it give when it aborts during startup with the
checkbox checked?

Not kind of message appear when the VM aborted

-When you check the filter box with the VM is running does it shutdown
the VM or just do nothing?

When I checked the filter box while the VM is running, the VM is
aborted. If I checked before to start to run, it doesn't run.

Thank you for all your tips in "For your information:" and before.

I'm follow them and then I will explain what happended with my VB and
VM.

Regards,

Jorge Rodríguez
