I run Manjaro which is arch based.  Vboxsf is still in the kernel but two 
things have changed on my install.  The vboxsf driver stopped loading 
automagically so the mounts stopped mounting.  If you manually load the kernel 
driver and manually mount the shared folder things will work as expected.
