Hello Leo,

You will probably have to do the following:

* unmount the Mandrake CD from within Ubuntu (Basically, a CD can't be 
in use by the host operating system and a guest at the same time) by 
right clicking on the icon for the CD and selecting unmount.
* Attach the CD (which will probably be listed as something like 
/dev/hdc or /dev/cdrom in the list) to the Mandrake virtual machine 
which you have created using virtual machine settings dialogue box.
* Start the virtual machine, and it should start installing.
