Hey there Michael, and thanks for the quick response.  VBoxManage list
hostdvds returns:
/dev/cdrom
/dev/sdf1
When I try the command VBoxManage modifyvm my_xppro -dvd host:/dev/cdrom
(or /dev/sdf1), I do not get the error about invalid host dvd name, but
I get messages from Windows about not being able to read the disk.  When
I explore the drive in file browser, my drives come up as cdrom0 and
cdrom1 respectively.  Under vbox 1.4, I used scd0, but that is not
working here for some reason.
