As long you respect the original values with regards to OS type, you can create a new VM and point it to the old VDI file. Plus, I've been told on this list that VBox 2.0 migrates XML files from previous versions. And last: you started this thread by quoting an error message. That error message complained that you were trying to run a VDI with OS type Linux with a Mac OS-X setting, if I understood correctly. FC
