Sorry about that Antonio. Trying to get the USB in place of shared folders. The manual tells me :-
Clicking on the "+" button to the right of the "USB Device Filters" window creates a new filter. Device/USB Devices the selection is greyed out. Power off Tiny XD. In VirtualBox Settings ... USB is not an option. Ubuntu Jaunty (that was released only in April 2009) gave me VirtualBox 2.1.4_OSE is that the problem? In the Ubuntu user magazine (DVD included) there was an article by Marcel Gagne, wonder what version he had.
