Hello everyone,

I've seen this issue discussed online in several different threads, but none
of them had solutions to my problem. I'm running the following configuration

Host OS: Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1
Guest OS: Windows XP SP3
VirtualBox version: 3.0.10

I see that the host OS runs between 40 and 50% CPU utilization while the
guest OS is completely idle (0-5% utilization). I've tried several
suggestions I found online, such as disabling audio for the VM, disabling
ACPI (couldn't start the VM), disabling USB and shared folders. Nothing
helps.

I wonder if this is a bug. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Karim
