I was trying to get a freeBSD guest up on an ubuntu host which also had a w2k guest and an xp guest. Neither one of those other works any longer. When I installed the freeBSD host, I ran out of room, so I moved a directory containing the disk images I had used to install the ms guests to a different partition. I then added the images to vbox back in at their new location and deleted the old images from vbox. I also changed the network shared directory in each ms guest from a single directory under my home directory to my home directory itself and deleted the specification for the old shared directory. That's all that's different. I think. Now both guest's refuse to boot with 'failed to load HGCM (VERR_INVALID_PARAMETER)' The settings for those two guests are no longer available. They settings icons are greyed out. So it looks like I'm just SOL. Am I? What did I do wrong? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJLNIzGAAoJEL6Y7v/+eHMy4iUH/0O7lLs6Vrcpda9cBvGJX8ur rvVSF+a63LtTrd6I+u+oLfComZYkRHC0PvH0wg9ZGo+5U0oDv/QAjVRBJxgS7gD8 XTSSvSW9CLkHj0cJsPPoKIP4kn4okl1R+txXaODctAKi8r8WKsuR+vYsRDC+Q0L2 F9/Jom2BfLXCEsSJxLCPviHHhflpbhT1twNykVJULyEOkLB81PdnHD8Mf5JPtXpC tvUI8BHgKUQ0gfmaOvBjP3bYlgH+dI+E7Gy0S5jxM8cvSLu4zw4t9af/dP8PwuNP kfk4EgK5DZlQ86R7jy2qPZqv0n19swsfWUrDwxO9UdTbqgXw/UJ8DiR9gZCSZDw= =brhm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
