Well, I thought I'd be able to migrate my vpopmail+sqwebmail to
vpopmail+mysql+sqwebmail but it didn't work.
I did vpopmail as follows,
./configure [EMAIL PROTECTED]
--enable-tcprules-prog=/usr/local/bin/tcprules --enable-log-name=vpopmail
--enable-vpopuser=vpopmail --enable-vpopgroup=vchkpw
--enable-default-domain=mydomain.com --enable-mysql=y --enable-passwd=n
--enable-harquota=7000000 --enable-tcpserver-file=/home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp
I did edit the vmysql.h file and changed the password for the user .
To make a long story short mysql is obvously not working.
When a client is trying to pop3-in he gets a "could not connect to mysql" and
the log says
vpopmail[17932]: vchkpw: No virt found [EMAIL PROTECTED]:ip.or.the.person
I believe I have entered everything right.
And also if an email is sent to anyone in the system , the system rejects the
email with the following error.
qmail: 970290648.481591 delivery 6: failure: could_not_connect_to_mysql_server/v
sql_getpw:_failed_select/vsql_getpw:_failed_select/Reason_for_failure:_/Unknown_local_POP_user_/home
/vpopmail/domains/domain.com/user
I'm running sqwebmail 1.0 and vpopmail.4.9.3a.
