Hrm, in researching more about my problem (vpopmail using the IP of the mail _client_ as the domain to authenticate against). I came across an interesting thread on the google groups. The type of error I'm encountering is this, BTW: Oct 24 12:06:36 kareem vpopmail[411]: vchkpw: vpopmail user not found testuser@:10.1.2.101 Is this the author of this post correct in saying that 5.2.1 has known bugs with respect to smtp-auth? http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=1L1c9.304668%24UU1.54038%40sccrnsc03&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fq%3D%2522vchkpw:%2Bvpopmail%2Buser%2Bnot%2Bfound%2522%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26selm%3D1L1c9.304668%2524UU1.54038%2540sccrnsc03%26rnum%3D1 I downloaded and installed vpopmail 5.3.9, but I'm still running into the same problem. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Bill
