[vchkpw] Help with smtp after pop?

OS FreeBSD 4.7 Vpopmail 5.3.X Qmail 1.03 Qmail pop3d   Users outside of my network are able to relay but not able to access their their pop3 accounts?   Any ideas   \Anthony Aveley/
