Or Doxia? Considering the fact that Doxia comes out of the same corner
as the xdoc/Anakia idea, it is probably as future safe. ==:-)
Personally, if I do have to do new docs for code, I try to stick with
well established standards. Which seem to be Docbook these days (which
was not invented at the ASF...).

If it is DVSL, it should be renderable with Maven in no time. The
whole Velocity doc is driven in the same way and builds fine using
Maven. And if you are into pain, it should be possible to use XSLT to
convert the docs into web pages. :-)

Ah, I forgot, they deprecated xdoc in m2 in favor of doxia.

P.S.: Sorry Geir if I stepped on your toes here, I know that you were
heavily involved with DVSL/Anakia and xdoc, but the whole thing has
proven to be such a PITA and is IMHO is the reason that most Maven
driven project sites are either empty or simply provide a link to an
external site for documentation.
