Specifically: · Provide IT programs and projects assistance in developing cost analysis, cost estimation, and cost assessments. · Develop estimates to meet varying lifecycle requirements – from planning to execution. · Provide bottom-up, top-down, simulation, and parametric model estimates. · Mentor and train project managers and other project personnel in cost estimation and analysis techniques. · Work requires the technical capability to assess the cost and schedule implications of existing and projected technological advances, as well as being able to evaluate the impact of new and innovative acquisition strategies · Ability to develop Basis of Estimates. · Conduct and document benefits estimates. · Develop risk and associated risk mitigation strategies and approaches. *Position Requirements:* · Bachelor’s : Engineering, Math, Science or related degree · 15 relevant years of experience · Certified Cost Estimator and Analyst from International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association · Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) Certification; CCEA Part II Certification preferred · Experience with rough order of magnitude, budgeting, definitive estimates, and other lifecycle requirements. · Experience with the different types of cost data required to develop cost models for acquisition programs · Experience analyzing cost and programmatic data from various sources · Knowledge of and experience following the GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide · Knowledge of Basis of Estimates that support any estimates developed. · Ability to document and explain how estimates are derived. · Dedication to high quality products and the ability to function with minimal supervision · Must be an analytical thinker with ability to communicate results and issues in a concise manner both written and orally *Nice to Have:* · Master’s degree or higher · Knowledge of the FAA standard process documented in the Acquisition Management System (AMS) · Experience with cost estimating tools such as SEER/SEM, PRICE, CO$TAT, @Risk · Knowledge of statistical modeling; e.g. learning curve theory, linear programming and linear regression. · Knowledge of the GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide. · Knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) · Managing complex application development or infrastructure projects Best Regards *Anupam Amita* Technical Recruiter -201-285-8031 * 107 | F- 201-526-6869 : [email protected] *APETAN CONSULTING LLC* 72 Van Reipen Avenue # 255 Jersey City, NJ 07306 *Gtalk:[email protected] <gtalk%[email protected]>* http://www.apetan.com *Disclaimer: We respect your Online Privacy.
