Job Title: *Android App Developer - Streaming Media* ยท *Location: Woodbury, NY* *Mode : phone and f2f is must.* Our Interactive Media client is seeking an Android Mobile App Developer to design and build advanced applications. You will work on new features and defect fixes to their existing app, Unit Testing code, and helping to implement new technologies. Responsibilities: . Design and build advanced applications, including new features and defect fixes to existing mobile apps . Define, design and implement new features . Identify and correct app functional and performance issues . Unit Test code for robustness and general reliability. . Assist in discovering and implementing new technologies Required Skills: . Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or other applicable field . Minimum 5 years proven work experience in software development . Knowledge of Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques . Memory profiling and static analysis as means to performance tuning/optimization . Experience with REST APIs consumption . Experience with version control systems (GIT/BitBucket) . Familiar with Agile software development and Dev Ops . Experience working with mobile video streaming technologies/platforms, including DRM implementations . Experience with 3rd party libraries and API's . Knowledge of Java/J2EE, REST and/or SOAP web services, AngularJS, HTML5, Unix and Windows . Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends and emerging technologies . Solid understand of the full mobile development life cycle .
