Hi All, Due to some performance issues on an Oracle database, Oracle is recomending that we change the mount parameter MINCACHE from DSYNC to DIRECT. What if any impact would this have on Netbackup backing up flat files from that FS ? This is a HPUX 11i-23 server and in the past Veritas has recommended keeping this setting at DSYNC for backup performance but this is many years ago.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated , thanks
