Hi Jasper. Thank you for your quick reply. I'm going with Shannon here - multiple working copies isn't the optimum solution for me: I'm working with repos where a single working copy (containing lots of images / large files) can easily grow up to 300MB.
When working with our ticket-branches I often just need to check out a little changeset in another branch or verify a test thats over there. Creating single working copies for about 15 active branches just isn't usable for me :-/ Sebastian On Oct 5, 5:03 pm, Shannon Hicks <iotas...@gmail.com> wrote: > There are many reasons why this is not an acceptable alternative, > including wasted drive space, wasted bandwidth, needless additional > file management, needless additional projects in my IDE, and not being > able to keep my development environment as close to my Windows using > counterparts. > > Shan > > On Oct 5, 7:03 am, Sofa <madebys...@gmail.com> wrote: > > > Hi Sebastian, > > > How do you mean exactly?
