If you'd like to ignore several files, it currently requires a bit of work. Right now you can't ignore several files at once. It would be neat if you could select several files, right click one of them, and ignore the lot.
You *can* ignore using wildcards: select a folder, then 'Edit' the ignore properties (right pane). You can supply wildcards like "*.txt".
