Hi Matt - do the borders show up if you save in PDF using a program like CutePDF? By the way, I assume you also hid the axis lines as these will look like borders. Does the file print out ok from Veusz? Also, you can change the PNG resolution in the preferences dialog. I think you can type in any resolution you like.
