I see the same behavior, and also don’t know if that is new or old (I also do file-open much more often than finder-double-click to open).
The behavior of “load default stylesheet” seems to not work. Loading an existing stylesheet doesn’t seem to have an effect, and neither does creating a new one and trying to load it. Listed the new stylesheet under preferences for “stylesheet for new files” also does not seem to work (new files open with usual defaults). Andy Andrew M.C.
