Hi,
I’m interested in creating layered image plots, i.e. having images on top of
each other to combine colours. This is done e.g. in Photoshop or GIMP by
colorised layers with screen blending. In Veusz, the transparency option
doesn’t seem to work the same way (e.g. 3 layers each with 66% transparency)
seems to have a color bias towards the top layer, i.e. I change the order of
the images and the colors change.

Perhaps what is needed is to just numerically add the RGB colors from each
layer (obviously clipping at 255), with the user adjusting the colors by choice
of colormap (e.g. blue, green and red, but could be others) and the Min/Max
values and scaling mode.

Cheers,
