Morning Iain, She has been working on the paperwork, essays and especially her grades for it. She got a 97 on an English paper a few weeks back and I thought we were going to have to call the paramedics. We went down last weekend for the meeting and she had a 40 minute interview with professors who were part of the decision. There were 47 students that made the cut, and only 5 got the full ride honors scholarship.
Yep, she has worked hard for it, even though she already has a full ride from the VA, she wanted to do it on her own. She has been working with her VA counselor and wants to save that for her masters and doctorate in Micro Biology specializing in nerve repair and regeneration for paralyzed vets.
