Nice canoe. Does it have seat-belts? Those outriggers would make it easier for someone to get back into the canoe after you dunk them.
JG__Yup, I got them just for you. No way you are staying the boat. :-) That's almost identical to mine, except mine's aluminum. Does salt-water corrode aluminum after time? I have the outriggers too- like them. Trying to decide on the pusher. And I intend to build a stand-up casting platform up front with a leaning post, like the bassers use. JG__ there is a guide on Sanibel Island who fishes the Ding Darling Preserve from an 18' canoe. He has constructed a kneeling platform in the front of his canoe. It is very effective. It breaks down into 3-4 pieces. (And if your Catholic and it happens to be Sunday.... well you get the picture; a fisher of men and all that) ----- Original Message ----- From: "jerry goldsmith" <glgoldsm...@cfl.rr.com> To: <vfb-mail@googlegroups.com> Sent: Saturday, March 07, 2009 9:47 AM Subject: [VFB] SS SHALLOWMINDED > > DonO, > > Here are a few shots of my canoe. 16' 1/2 , pretty > heavy.
