For VFB'ers who must order through the fly shop, the discount will still
hold, but I have to let him know who is a VFB'er so let me know if you order
this way.

Don, as you know i definately want one.....number doesn't matter, VFB
discout sure does. And thankx for that. i really would prefere to pay with a
credit card or Pay Pal.....as we NEED the frequent flyer miles. If we were
to order it thru that fly shop, can we use a credit card and still get the
VFB discount? Tkx., mark.....

I've been saving all emails requesting the DVD in a file pocket. I'll refer
to these when I put the list together. If you signed up earlier, I'll use
that for your number. If you select a #, I'll reserve it for you. If I
missed you, I'll get you signed up.

I'm not sure about payments, as I had problems with paypal when I used it
for selling Fantasy Flies a while back. They were double-billing and would
not make it right, so I had to make the refunds. I dumped them. Now I take
checks and am doing just fine that way. I've actually had time to tie up a
number of them for customers recently. Working on a 19/0 pattern for a
long-time family friend, too.

So, for this initial run, if you want to send a check, please do. But I
prefer you wait until I have the DVDs ready in my hands, if you know what I
mean. Your email will hold your order and SN..

I also intend to sell them also from the Platte River Fly Shop here in
Casper- http://www.wyomingflyfishing.com/.

He will charge me a %-age for handling sales and the $-transaction. Again,
that portion on his site is not up yet, due to I ain't got 'em done yet (and
he's been bugging me too to get them done). He'll be able to process orders
and electronic payments.

He also sells my Fantasy Flies- again, when I have some for him to sell.
LOL Trust me- Fantasy Flies are not a high-volume sort of sale, like
commercial fishing flies or t-shirts. Buggs calls them "Rare and Unusual"-
like the tier. LOL

Don,

Are you going to take PayPal or credit cards.

Friends,

Had lunch today with the videographer. He was down in early October with
the Swine flu for 2 weeks, and then he had to catch up on projects. He did
not get the vaccine, FYI.

We set a goal to have the 1st 50 DVDs ready by Mid/late November. For this
1st batch, I'll do the label artwork, and he'll do all the copy/label
printing work, then hopefully I'll take over all post-production functions
later. He has an anti-pirating program that even his expensive professional
gear cannot get around.

We'll work on setting up printing with sequential serial numbers, the 1st
100 of which will be signed special edition- 1st come-1st served*. I'll
generate a list of the VFB'ers who have ordered them and post it soon.

My wife will get SN#1. *If you guys don't mind, I'd like to assign SN#2 to
Tony Spezio. Then the rest in order.

Of the 1st 50 DVDs sold, those sold to VFBers will be discounted from $39.95
(+$5 S&H) to $29.95 (+$5 S&H), a 25% discount. Rough numbers show the
break-even sales number at 100+/- videos, not accounting for my time- just $
invested.

Plans:

Each person with a serial # and matching email address can log onto my new
website page** (upcoming) for rope-dubbing tutorials (short videos), photos,
pattern submissons, recipes, dubbing specials, FAQs, etc. If your email
address does not match your assigned serial #, it is flagged and you can't
log on to this page only. We'll keep records of orders and ser. #s for the
1st collector's set. Advanced Rope-dub #2 DVD will do the same as #1, as
will the show-mouse DVD.

The DVD intro will be indexed so you can go straight to the tying sequence
you want to see, or watch the whole thing. Pause and freeze-frame when you
see a fly photo or want, or to try the technique and go back and forth. The
rear cover of the DVD jacket will have the 24 tying sequences indexed, as
will the DVD label, and then the into page of the DVD itself- hopefully as a
hot-link.

**I bought a new template-driven web-page-maker program and am learning how
to make my own web-site. - Old dog learning new tricks. It doesn't help
when Buggs makes fun of my ineptitude- he's merciless.

If there are any questions, please fire away, as I'm still working it all
out. And sorry for the delay. This 1st one is a real learning process and
has had to take the back seat to work.

I'll be issuing the list of DVD orders very soon- gotta set it up in a Word
format.

BTW and FYI, went fishing yesterday for a couple of hours, and on the 1st
cast landed a real nice hen rainbow about 2+# or so (20"). She took a
rope-dubbed crawfish/leech pattern. :o). She was tight to shore in the
rocks, so after her I hung up and lost a dozen flies on the bottom trying to
get another. Nice thing, they were two-minute rope-dub patterns, so the
loss wasn't great. Got another batch of 2dz. tied up for this weekend.
Hope the wind co-operates, as yesterday it made casting almost impossible.

Shoulda had that catch video'd for the DVD intro, but the cameraman is
covering the Chris LeDoux memorial rodeo at this time. Chris was from just
north of here- KayCee, WY.
