Garry,
Posting photos is always good. But I'm pretty happy with my Dyna-King.
I don't use the rotary function even if I have it. Learned how to tie
without it, so I don't need it enough to make me use it. I just need the vise to hold
the hook dead solid. My Regals do that also.

DonO,

I agree with Rene -- it's an AWESOME vise for the price!!! It holds the hook really well. I've used heavy hooks as well as fine wire hooks and nothing MOVES. I have to admit this is the first vise where I've used the bobbin rest pretty extensively. It's also the first vise w/2 knobs and no cam to hold the hook. I don't think it's slowing me down at all.

If you're still looking for pictures or photo's in action, let me know and I'll post some to the group.

Hi,
it is Fed Bach's Mayfly vise, great vise for the money. Got it today and
I'm impressed. Excellent access at the hook's bend, smooth rotary
function, and an excellent bobbin rest.

I'll use it for the next swap, I don't expect it to replace my Regal
(different concept), but nice for traveling, it has got already its
place in the living room, where I ty in the evenings. And the price is
really a deal.
No affiliation, for sure. Just satisfied customer.

as good to tie on as my Danvise and my Griffith. It will probably
    become my prederred travel vise.

        Hi Don,
        thanks for merging the swaps.
I haven't decided yet on the pattern. I'm waiting for a new
        vise from
Tony's friend, and while testing the vise I will try some things.
I plan to ty a streamer pattern, but this depends if I my
        hands are
doing what my mind says. Do I have a mind... <G>??
