I have tied and caught a LOT of bluegills on this pattern in the past. Specially about this time of the year here when the terrestrials are dying and hitting the water. Chuck

It can be found in the book "Ring of The Rise" by Vince. I have used it in the past for Gills. I decided to tie it at the FFF Fly Fair last weekend. The original was tied with rubber legs or Goose Biots, I use Peacock Herl for the under body and the legs. I also embellish it with a couple of spots of paint and doll eyes.
