Sow bugs are tied flat top and bottom and a bit more oval than round as viewed from above. Scuds are tied with flatter sides and in the shape of that link previously posted. Both are great patterns here. Try tying the sow bugs with a red thread and a strip of gold tinsel down the back where the peacock herl is on the scud pattern. It works really good tied that way here.
