When you guys tie woolly buggers, do you make the palmered hackle thick or sparse, hen hackle or rooster? Just curious. I usually tie mine up with two hen hackles, I like them bushy like that, but I awas wondering if I would have even better luck fishing them sparse. I once tied some without a palmered body, just one hen hackle as a collar. Out fished most of my other ones. But I have not really fished that pattern enough to test it out right.
