Morning folks, I would like to ask for prayers this morning. Weather started
with light drizzle and scattered showers yesterday and that is all we were
supposed to have and been over with early this morning. About 7:30 last
night a line of thunderstorms formed and have been pounding SE New Mexico
with up to 1" of rain an hour in spots as well as hail and high winds. At
first it was moving south to north, then during the night the low moved east
and the storms have come back from the north. I just talked to my friend
Jack who lives about 2 miles from our place in Lakewood and he told me that
the storms have been severe there all night, light to moderate flooding as
well as driving rain and high winds. As soon as the weather lets up a bit I
plan on heading down to see how things are holding up. Please pray that I
find everything in tact and dry inside. We don't need any more set backs
right now.
