Last night I got around to refinishing a rod that I bought awhile ago. I
wanted to sand off the manufacturers logo and such and hand letter my own.
And I needed to sand down the lacquer they used at the guides.

Well, I now have lightly damaged the finish of this rod. It's graphite, and
using #320 and 400 sand paper, I doubt that I have done any real damage to
the blank.

Now, how do I restore the gloss to the rod in those places I am not epoxying
over?

On the side of the software box, in the 'System Requirements' section, it said
'Requires Windows 95 or better'. So I installed Linux and lived happily ever
after.
