Hi list,
I went out early this morning to get some fresh air after too many hours at the office this week. There was that lovely scent of September in the air and the lake looked almost like a mirror. As I rigged my rod  I happened to see a bravehearted wasp trying to fly across the lake, in the frosty air he hadnt the needed strength so he crashed down into the water. After a few seconds he had gone to higher huntinggrounds in form of a trout's belly.

I tied on a deerhair wasp and had a real dreamfishing hour. Two trouts, one rainbow an two small graylings in one hour. So my advice is, if you havent tried a wasp pattern yet so please do so in the morning after the first frost. As you can see in the picture it is a quite simple pattern almost similar to that of Goddard's Sedge (http://www.soren.info.se/). You dont have to attach any wings as the fish doesnt seem to miss them at all.

Greetings from Sweden,
Soren
