Hi Don I've taught a couple of lefties. Like wise I am very much right hand dominant. What I found worked well for me was to set my vise directly opposite and as close as possible to theirs. The next step was for me to tie with the thread coming towards myself as it comes over the top of the hook shank. To the lefty sitting opposite of you the thread is going away from them as it goes over the top and appears normal. What you are doing is creating a mirror image. Although it was a little awkward it was far easier than trying to tie with my left hand. Hope this helps Mel Hocken
