Put a mirror behind your vice that's large enough to show what you're doing and let the little "Smarty Pants" watch the mirror.  It'll show everything "left-handed".  Lefty golfers sometimes use this approach to check their swing. Most all golf instruction is for right-handers.  In the mirrow, a Lefty appears right-handed.
