Dr??? Hmmm.... You probably have access to some of the best fly tying equipment available. The burning tool I use is from a medical supply company. It's used in surgery to cauterize small blood vessels. It looks like a pen. You can purchase these under a different name in fly tying shops. If you have access to them, I understand they much cheaper in the medical field. I'm not sure if this is what Joyce uses. She might have a better tool. She is a wealth of information. I really enjoy her posts. These also can be used to burn eyes sockets into spun deer hair bugs. A little cleaner than the torch I saw someone using. Deb
